Accreditation

ChangeAbility has been awarded Recorded Status, REC 337, by the Services SETA (ETQA & Learning Department) as of 14 September 2007. This means that training courses offered by ChangeAbility are non-credit bearing in relation to Unit Standards and Qualifications, but are regarded as integral to effective workplace practice. These courses do not fall within the ambit of the NQF. Please note that Services Seta member paying stakeholders will be able to claim from their grants if they use Recorded providers. Recorded status is attained after SETQAA finds that a training provider of education and training has the potential and capability to deliver quality education and training in line with the minimum criteria specified by SAQA.

 

ChangeAbility has a quality management system that is aligned with the requirements of the Services Seta and offers training of the highest quality and standards. Our training is aimed at change and communication practitioners, managers, leaders, in house and external consultants and executives and is typically pitched at post-graduate level.

ChangeAbility's mission is to provide meaningful, superior quality and value for money training that enables learners to make an immediate difference in their work places or communities by the following means:

•      ChangeAbility will provide comprehensive and practical change management training that goes way beyond the basics

•      Training will be provided by subject matter experts passionate about their field and about providing transformative learning experiences

•      Short course training will provide "just in time" or "just enough" learning to meet specific needs in the workplace, making learning more accessible and affordable

•      An experiential / interactive training approach will be followed where learners will be encouraged to share their knowledge and experience but also to question assumptions, beliefs and values and consider multiple points of view

•      The complete training experience (trainer, training approach, training material, training venue including refreshments) will be value adding and memorable
   

After conducting research into the training requirements of our target market we concluded that the market does not, in fact, require training courses that have NQF accreditation. Our market does not have the inclination or a real need to collect credits towards national qualifications and is more interested in quality training that provides skills that are immediately applicable in the workplace.
