Nexus Africa Conference
Midrand Conference Centre | Gauteng | South Africa 11 - 14 September 2011

The This year South Africa is the proud host of a unique and powerful change event.

The Nexus for Change Conference, first hosted in 2007 by Bowling Green State University in Ohio, provides a unique opportunity for people from across the world to share what they know about whole systems and participative change. For the first time since its creation, Nexus will be held on African soil, with the purpose of bringing leaders, practitioners, activists, scholars and students together to advance the Whole System Change field and in doing so, to address critical learnings and opportunities on our continent and in our world. The Nexus Africa Conference promises to bring rich and unique African character to this internationally recognised and renowned event.

A number of powerful approaches to change, selected from a repertoire of more than 60 methodologies broadly referred to as large-group methods/ interventions, whole-system change, or large-scale change, will be used to illustrate how organisations and communication have been and can be transformed to tackle 21st century challenges.
